Obituary of Dorothea M. Brumbaugh

Dorothea M. Brumbaugh "Dar" age 65 of Upper Chichester, passed away on January 6, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born and raised in Chester, PA, by her parents, Edgar and Dorothy Meehan Smith. Dar resided in Upper Chichester for the past 25 years. She graduated from Chester High School, Class of 1976. A homemaker, Dar had a love for cooking, drinking coffee, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a huge fan of Elvis. Equally, she loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. She had a passion for animals and will be greatly missed by her dog, Callie. In addition to her parents, Dorothea is preceded in death by her husband David J. Brumbaugh who passed away in 2013, and 5 siblings; Patricia, Thomas, Edward, Sarah, and Edna Smith, as well as her granddaughter; Kayla Grace. She is survived by 6 children; David (Bobbi-Jo) Brumbaugh, Jennifer Brumbaugh, Miranda (Kevin) Fox, Joseph (Kelli) Brumbaugh, Madeline Brumbaugh, and Michael (Sarah) Brumbaugh, 3 siblings; Mary, Marion, and John Smith, 17 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; A visitation for Dar will take place on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 10AM-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM.
