Obituary of Martha A. Charney

Martha A. Charney, age 90 of Boothwyn, PA died peacefully on December 22, 2016. Born & raised in Hazelton, PA to the late Michael & Anna Vasinda, she has resided over 5o years in Boothwyn, PA. Martha retired from DiMeglio Insurance in Twin Oaks where she was a bookkeeper. She was devoted to her faith and a founding member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. Martha also enjoyed collecting Dolls. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Charney who died in 1985, and 2 siblings, Beatrice Wojciechowski & Stephen Vasinda. She is survived by a son, Larry (Cyndi) Charney, a sister, Ann Marie Hudock, 2 grandchildren, Larry (Kaitlyn) Charney & Rhiannon Charney & 1 great grandson, Alexander. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 8:30-9:45AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Mass, 10:30 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
