Obituary of Beatrice Violet Locke

Beatrice Violet Locke, age 99 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on December 10, 2023 at Wilmington Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, she was a lifelong resident of Boothwyn, PA. A homemaker, Beatrice was devoted to her home, family, and church. In addition to her parents, John W. and Ermina B. Bernard Davis, Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband, Lee L. Locke who passed in 1989, eight siblings, Frank Davis, Dorothy Johnson, Ruth Benson, Harry Davis, Lila Mae McAllister, John W. Davis Jr.,William "Charles" Davis, and Eleanor "Anna" King. She is survived by nine children, Linda L. (Jim) Miller, Barbara A. Griggs, Kenneth M. Locke, Denise Searfass, Susan Ferry, Lee W. Locke, Judith Fickett, Holly C. (Buzz) Johnson, and Gail (Brad Jay) Locke, 24 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
