Dear Brian,
I'm sure you've heard and will hear many wonderful things about your dad and, as you know, they will all be true. I met your dad in 2010 when I joined the Knights of Columbus. He and Jerry Dugan interviewed me at that time and "roped" me into the choir - I never regretted for a minute joining the Knights or the choir. Little did I know at the time that it would be the "beginning of a beautiful friendship". I was blessed to have known him. I will miss him very much. My deep and sincere condolences to you and the rest of your family.
Mike Cinaglia
BTW I love the picture in the obituary...it captures his contagious smile.

George was a stand- up guy who had a heart of gold. He played trumpet in our band. He also opened and closed our practice venue, and when he was unable to do it, his son Brian stepped in. For our concerts in the park, he and his son would set up the sound system for our band. George would give you the shirt off his back. Such a good hearted man. We love you George and will always miss you, but you will never be forgotten.
