Obituary of Nancy Mascaro

Nancy Mascaro, age 97 of Chambersburg, PA passed away on September 19, 2023 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born to Joseph & Maria Campora Bruno in West Chester, PA, Nancy has recently resided with her daughter in both Chambersburg, PA and Lutz, FL. Nancy was a longtime resident of Concordville, PA where she raised her family. A Court Clerk and Administrator, she worked 28 years for her husband, the Honorable Leon Mascaro at the District Court office in Concordville. Nancy was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was Judge of elections in Concord Township for 50 years and volunteered for the fire house for many years too. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Leon J. Mascaro, daughter, Nancy Hineman, and 4 siblings, Joseph, Frank & Samuel Bruno and Philomena DeCarlo. She is survived by 2 children, Joseph Mascaro & Pamela (Rudy) Serafini, a sister, Rose Forte (nee) Bruno, 8 grandchildren, Reno Mascaro, Alia Serafini. Erica Serafini, Christine Croft, Marty Hineman, Nancy (Bob) Gober, Toni (Mike) Trainor and Bo (Reubon) West, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Saturday, 9:30-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
