Obituary of Sue E. Downs

Sue E. Downs, age 81 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on September 7, 2023 at Rose Court in Maris Grove. She was born and raised in Fox Chase Philadelphia. Sue resided for the past 12 years in the Maris Grove community in Glen Mills, previously residing in Chester County for 20 years. A homemaker, Sue enjoyed collecting figurines, going to the beach, playing poker and coloring. In addition to her parents, Daniel and Sarah Lowry Furlow, Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Sarah Furlow, her brother Charles, and her husband, Robert R. Downs who passed in 2015. She is survived by 2 children, Stephen (Laurie) McCann and Lisa (Allen) Puy, 2 grandchildren, Joshua Boyer and Grace Puy, sister, Sally Ann Wehr and a niece Ann DeFrangesco. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 10:00AM at Longwood Cemetery, 945 E. Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA.
