Obituary of Theresa R Carbone

Theresa R. Carbone, age 74 of Ridley Park, PA passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in the Overbrook Park section of West Philadelphia. Theresa resided for the past 40 years in Ridley Park, previously residing in Overbrook Park. An H.R. administrator, Theresa worked for Boeing for 24 years before retiring in 2011. She previously worked as a Crossing Guard in Ridley Twp., PA. Theresa was devoted to her Catholic faith and a member of St. Madeline Church in Ridley Park. She was a devoted Eagles and Phillies fan. She enjoyed spending summers in Wildwood, NJ, and her hobbies included playing cards, especially solitaire and rummy, reading and shopping But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Michael and Jennie Paoletti Iaconangelo, Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Carbone who died in 2007 and a brother, Louis Iaconangelo (Gracie). She is survived by her 2 daughters, Joann (Allen) Bell and Michele (Brent) Robinson, granddogs, Rosie, Phoebe, Bentley and Gracie and her beloved cat Lucy. A visitation will be held on Friday, 9:00-10:15AM at St. Madeline Catholic Church, 110 Park St., Ridley Park, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment, S.S.
