Obituary of Wayne J. Richardson

Wayne J. Richardson, age 87, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on August 22, 2023 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born and raised to the late James & Marjory Longjohn Richardson in Paterson, NJ, he previously resided in Wallingford, PA, and Glen Mills, PA. Wayne loved gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed learning various topics while completing 2 Master’s Degrees. He was an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church. Wayne worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry, for Merck Pharmacy, in various positions during his tenure.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 27 years, Virginia Carhart Richardson, 2 stepdaughters, Aimee (John) Disney and Sheree Parkinson, and 2 grandchildren, Brianna & Sydney. 
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Meadowcroft Presbyterian Church, 1255 S. Westtown Rd., West Chester, PA immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will remain private. Donations in Wayne’s memory can be made to Nemours Children’s Hospital
