Although we never met Connie we have heard truly wonderful things about her through her daughter Christine. Connie’s strong character will be carried on by her children and grandchildren. Our condolences are with you all and you are in our prayers.

We have so many wonderful memories of adventures with Connie, particularly during our vacations with Connie and Josie on Anna Maria Island. It was easy to be friends with Connie. She was always ready to find the best ice cream, the freshest seafood, and the perfect breakfast place. And part of these visits always included various members of the extended O’Neill clan to add to the fun. We loved getting together when she would come north to the beach or Vermont. Whether it was watching Jeopardy and calling out the answers, or just sitting around the table talking about food and life, she was always the heart of the gathering. We will miss her dearly. Dear Josie and family, Connie provided many fun and fond memories for us here in Vermont. It was beautiful to see the sisterly love she shared with our dear friend Josie and we will hold on to the many meals and chats (about sports, family and food) we shared over the years when she visited north. To Connie's beloved family, we are so sad for your loss and know how much Connie's family meant to her. May her love for you and the many memories you shared remain in your hearts. So heart broken, Mrs. O’Neill was a huge part of my life, from 10 years old. She was a second mom to me, and never ever forgot me or my family when I loss my own mom at 29 years old. The first Christmas after that, I received a package at Christmas with an Angel tree topper, the card which I don’t have but remember every word, your mom is always with you and watching over you all. She even enclosed a little gift for my newly born daughter of 6 months old, and never ever did she miss a Christmas or birthday for us from then on, she made me feel loved, and stepped in at a time when I needed a mom the most. Thank you Christine, Karen, Tommy and your families for sharing your mom with me all these years. I will never forget you Mrs. O’Neil and am so grateful to have had you in my life all these years. God bless you and keep you!!
