Obituary of Connie Innezzelli

Connie Innezzelli, age 77, of Phila, PA passed away suddenly on July 11, 2023 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, Connie has been a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia. She began working as a waitress at the young age of 18. Connie had a charming, friendly way about her that immediately made one love her. Her smile was infectious and always made a room lighten up upon her presence. Connie worked as waitress at several fine restaurants at a young age including Franky Bradley's & Mitchell's, however she eventually began working alongside her mom, Betty, at the Original House of Pagano's in the University City section of West Philadelphia. Her knowledge of the restaurant business eventually led her to enter the club business herself where she managed a gentleman's club in South Philadelphia. Connie was well respected in the business as many of the staff & girls referred to her as "Mom". Her death will leave many with an empty feeling. Connie is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Innezzelli (nee) Gambale. She is survived by her Aunt Marge Zajko (age 99), cousins; Benny and Josephine Venafro, Anthony & Madeline Zajko, Sandy Anne Zajko, Anthony Zajko, nephew, Dominic Venafro and a niece, Samantha Venafro. She also leaves behind a lifelong friend, Ted Pagano.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, from 9:00-10:15AM at Annunciation BVM, 10th & Dickinson Sts., Phila, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests mass cards. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com
