Obituary of Stella L. Owen

Stella L. Owen age 77 of Wilmington DE passed away on July 1, 2023 at Wilmington Hospital. She was born in West Chester, PA, and raised in Garnet Valley by her parents, Russell and Isabel (Marsh) Lynch. Stella was a cook that worked for over 40 years at Aramark and at the Pocopson Home. She enjoyed traveling, hanging out with her neighbors in her front yard, and taking care of her dog "Buddy." In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Owen (2021) and 8 late siblings. She is survived by her son John (JulieAnne) Wentzel, 3 siblings, 4 grandchildren; Jack (Elizabeth Russell), Justin, and Julia, and her great grandson Jace. A visitation for Stella will take place on Friday, July 7 from 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A Memorial service will follow at 10AM.
