Obituary of Sarah Ann B. Heeney

Sarah Ann B. Heeney (Hand), age 67 of Boothwyn, PA passed away on June 15, 2023 at her home. Sarah was born in Darby, PA to Joseph and Agnes (Gutberlet) Hand, she was raised in Leedom, PA, and has resided for the last 23 years in Boothwyn, PA, previously residing in Woodlyn, PA. Sarah was a CMS Systems Analyst for Medicare and Medicaid for over 35 years. She loved decorating her home, vacationing by the water, going out to lunch and dinner with family and friends, but mostly Sarah loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her Husband William J. Heeney of 46 years, and her brothers Charles and Joseph Hand. She is survived by her children; Christopher (Lori) Heeney, and Laura (Richard) Ridpath, sisters; Bernadette Barrios, Theresa Pazinski, Cecilia Hand, and Marie Elaine Lynch, grandchildren; Joseph, Richard, and Alison. A funeral mass will be held for Sarah and William J. Heeney on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Eddystone, PA. Interment of Sarah and William will follow immediately at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
