Obituary of Margaret L. Hampel

Margaret "Sis" L. Hampel, age 90 of Middletown, Twp., formerly of Chester, PA died on February 16, 2016 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born, raised and educated in Chester Twp., she was employed by the Chester-Upland School District in the Food Service Department for 22 years retiring in 1991. Margaret was a former member of Resurrection Church, the American Legion Post 926 Ladies Auxiliary in Aston and the Trainer Senior Citizens. She enjoyed going on bus trips with the seniors, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Sis is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Hampel Sr. who died in 1992, a brother, Charles O'Meara Jr. and a sister, Frances Genthert. She is survived by 5 children, John (Judy) Hampel Sr., Charlene (Harry) Trader, Joseph (Sandy) Hampel, Margaret (Charles) Landis and Charles Hampel Jr., 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, 9:30-11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
