Obituary of Barry Leigh Kain

Barry L. Kain, age 76 of Media, PA passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. Born in Chester, PA and raised in Bethel Twp., PA; a son of George V. and Myrtle Welch Kain, he resided in Media for the past fifteen years, previously residing in West Chester, PA as a longtime resident.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, holding the rank of Sergeant. Barry was a home builder for over 50 years.  When Barry wasn’t helping or taking care of others, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Barry loved trips to Fort Myers Beach, Florida with his wife and grandchildren.  Barry was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry DePaul Kain who passed away in 2010, daughter, Jennifer Marie Kain (2010), and his brother, George Kain (2016). Barry is survived by his twin sons, Barry J. (Kim) Kain and Michael D. Kain; daughter, Terri (Pete) Plazer; five grandchildren, Madison, Lindsay, Brian, Michael, and Joshua.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9AM to 10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral liturgy at 10AM.  Interment will follow at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Garnet Valley, PA.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com.
