Obituary of Kathryn M. Gallagher
Kathryn M. Gallagher, age 68, of Glen Mills, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at her home. Born to the Late John and Catherine Micklos Gorman in Philadelphia, PA, she resided in the Maris Grove Community for the past five years. She previously resided in Quakertown, PA for over 30 years. Kathryn was a banker for Citizens Bank for over 30 years prior to retiring in 2010. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, especially frequent trips to Ocean City, MD. She and her husband renewed their vows in Hawaii, and traveled to Europe, the Caribbean and all over the United States. She loved having dinner with her friends at Maris Grove and finding the humor in life. But nothing compared to spending as much time as she could with her family, especially babysitting her grandson, Charlie.
Kathryn is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Thomas D. Gallagher, daughters, Lauren (Keith) Lotman, and Kelly Gallagher; four grandchildren, Charles, Ben, Anna, and David; two brothers, John (Bonnie) Gorman, and Thomas Gorman; three sisters, Barbara (Wayne) Theobald, Mary (George) Drager, and Eileen (John) Newell. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA. Interment will be private. Please wear your favorite brightly colored clothing in honor of Kathy’s love for dressing in a fun and vibrant way!
