Obituary of Mary Ann Murr

Mary Ann Murr, age 77, of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on March 29, 2023 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born to Joseph and Michinlina Paolina Ballato in Easton, PA, Mary Ann resided in Garnet Valley for 3 years, previously residing in Glenolden, PA. She enjoyed cooking and worked at Darby Township Middle School as a cook for many years. Mary Ann and her husband like to travel and enjoyed cruises to the Bahamas, Alaska, and Disneyworld among others. She also loved dogs, especially her furry friend, Chloe. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Murr, and is survived by her sister, Connie (Robert) Giacopetti, brother, Michael (Anthony Mele )Edwards,  nephews, Robert and Michael (Candy) Giacopetti, and great nephew, Rene Giacopetti. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, from 9:30 - 10:15AM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Rd, Chadds Ford, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM.
