Dear Joyce and Family, I have known Michael ever since he moved to Woodhaven Road and we continuisly hung out on the Cedarwood Corner! We had such a great relationship with All of the Friends and now, Michael is joining so many of them in the hereafter! I have tried so many times to reach him in the past 10 years, but to no avail! I will never forget all of the laughter, badness, the parties, the dances and all of the Acapella on the corner. We All Loved One Another! Such a Great Group of Friends! May you and your Family find happiness in the fact that Michael was so well Loved. All of my Sympathy! Suzanne Seiler Melcher (aka Sue Seiler) one of the guys!

Semper Fi my Brother Mike!
Rest in Peace with our Lord and his Saints.
We joined the Corps together, and then life split us up over all the passing years. It was a real treat to be reunited with you at the Briarcliffe reunion once, and then again at my home in West Grove, Pa., when you and a few other Cedarwood friends came to visit in the early 2000s. As kids in the neighborhood - we always looked for trouble, and then in our Marine Corps we served with honor, and lived up to their expectations very Honorably for family and country and our Brother Marines.
My love, thoughts and prayers go out to you Joyce, and all of the family and friends who loved Mike, as he did them all throughout
his life in Delco. I thank you all for giving him the thing he cherished most, all of your love.
I loved him as well, and will always carry fond memories of him in my life.

To Michaels Family, I write this with very great memories growing up together. We both grew up in Cedarwood as only those from the area would know. Attended 8 years at Our Lady of Fatima where we had fun hanging out on the corner, throwing snow balls at cars or grabbing bumpers of the cars to slide down the road without the driver knowing it. If we were hanging out at Mike's house or in the yard we had to watch our language as Mike was very protective of his beautiful sister.
We had allot of classes together at Saint James some were getting in trouble and mostly complaining about not having any girls in the school, it never changed. In closing I had not seen Mike after graduation but everyone often talked about him, my older brother Nick knew Mike well and I was so proud of both of them enlisting in the Marine Corp. After I post this I will make the call to my brother now living in Lewis Delaware to give him this sad news.
God Bless you Mike and may you rest in peace
