Obituary of Richard Anthony Delciotto
Richard "Dick" Delciotto, age 85, of Newtown Square, PA passed away suddenly at home on March 15, 2023. Born, raised & educated in Philadelphia, Dick served in the Army, first as a reservist, and later being called to serve active duty during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Carfaro Railing, Inc. after many years in sales. Dick was instrumental in the success of the company where he secured many clients over the years traveling to several cities & states such as Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. He was known for his humorous side and always made a statement with his presence upon entering a room. He loved sports, spending time with his family or having time with friends at a local diner. Dick was a fighter who overcame his bout with cancer over twenty years ago. He was a devoted dad, and will be missed dearly by his loving son, Eric. In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Delciotto (nee) Ferro who died in 2016. He is survived by his son Eric Delciotto, 3 siblings, Bob Delciotto, Nick Delciotto & Elaine Delciotto along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, March 27, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA from 9:15-10:45AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
