Elaine J. Rittenbaugh, age 80 of Wilmington, DE passed away on March 5, 2023, at Parkview Nursing Home. Born and raised in Phoenixville, PA, Elaine resided for the past 6 years in Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Jensen Beach, FL. Elaine graduated from Phoenixville High School, Class of 1960, and was a member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Chester Springs. A licensed auctioneer, Elaine enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets, and antique shows. Elaine also enjoyed arts and crafts, taking walks, and collecting shells on the beach. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Bessie Sabadosh Gable, and is survived by 4 children, Corrinna E. Bond, Ronald G. Rittenbaugh, Daniel A. Rittenbaugh, and Samuel E. (Jenn) Rittenbaugh, 5 siblings, Louise Schantz, Barbara Chiusano, Ernest Gable Jr., William Gable, and Thomas Gable, 4 grandchildren, Nicole (Matt) Baldwin, Glenn (Stephanie) Bond, Camden Rittenbaugh, and Cru Rittenbaugh, and 6 great-grandsons.
