Obituary of Judith K. Lonning

Judith K. "Judy" Lonning, age 74, of Upper Chichester, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Born to Donald M. and L. Virginia Feist Lonning in Chester, PA, she has resided in Upper Chichester, PA her whole life. She graduated Chichester High School, Class of 1966 and Brandywine Junior College, Class of 1970. Judy worked at Houdry Air Products and then Sun East Federal Credit Union until her retirement in 2013. Devoted to her faith, she was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Ogden where she served as church clerk, Sunday School teacher, VBS teacher, Awana leader, and choir member. Judy enjoyed visiting Myrtle Beach, SC and Gatlinberg, TN. She was a beloved sister and friend. Judy is survived by her sisters, Susan Lonning and Karen (Wes) McDowell; niece, Kristy McDowell; nephew, John McDowell and great niece Carly Ann. She will be missed dearly, her friends and family will love her forever and carry her in their hearts. A viewing will be held from 10 - 11 AM on Friday, January 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Ogden, 2446 Mill Road, Upper Chichester, PA followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
