Oh as I think back on the conversations and the times I spent with Dottie, (that’s what we called her at Gilpin) her sense of humor and joyous spirit, always brought a smile to my soul. And when Celia and Alan visited, oh how she beamed. I was always amazed how she taught her children so many songs. I recorded them so I could sing along. I always felt connected since I’m from Chester, Pa also. I will miss her much. My condolences to the family, God’s Blessings

Dot was always seen with a smile on her face and she would always acknowledge you with a wave. She was a great neighbor to all in Lennox Park (Trainer) and will sorely be missed by all who knew her.

For her entire life, Dorothy Henderson was my aunt, like a sister to me, at times like a mother to me, and most of all my dear friend. Her death is a painful loss for me and to anyone who ever knew her. May she rest in deserved peace, Niece Judy Harper
