Obituary of Stephen DiMarino

Stephen DiMarino, age 91, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on December 29, 2022 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born to Nicola and Giovanna DiSciullo in Boothwyn, PA, Stephen was a resident of Upper Chichester, PA all his life. He graduated from Chichester High School and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Devoted to his faith, Stephen was a member of Immaculate Conception of Lourdes in Marcus Hook, PA. He was also a member of the American Legion. Stephen enjoyed visiting the Jersey Shore and Wildwood Crest, where he had a summer home. He was a sports enthusiast with a love for boxing as well as being an avid Phillies fan. Most of all, Stephen loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his siblings; Dominic, Mary, Anthony, and Louis DiMarino and Anne DiMarco. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara A. DiMarino, children; Stephen J. (Heather) DiMarino and Nicole M. (Joe) Russo, grandchildren; Christopher, Maria, Olivia, Joey, and Gabriel, and siblings; Joseph DiMarino and Susan Armideo. A visitation will take place on Tuesday evening, January 3, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. An additional visitation will take place on Wednesday morning, January 4, from 8:30-9:30AM at Pagano Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Church, 8th & Green Sts., Marcus Hook, PA at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in Stephen's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (stjude.org).
