I met Marge back when Andy was in kindergarten and I was his teacher. I remember her sharing with me the rough beginning Andy had and how determined she was to give him opportunities, discipline and love. She worked for the next few years to legally adopt Andy and had a party at her house when it was official. She made a darn good ham salad. She used to come into the school to make copies for the teachers. Not just Andy’s teacher, all the teachers. She made sure Andy always did all his homework as well as any other extra work she thought was necessary. And it worked because he went from a kid with challenges to a kid who needed a challenge. She was a “no nonsense” type person but she had an easy smile and would laugh often.
I respected the hell out of her and admired her generous nature. You touched our lives Marge and the world is a better place because you were here.

I spent a year living with Marge and my aunt Denise when I was a teenager. She helped mold me into who I am today. She taught me work ethic, (and got me my first job at ACME when she worked there) how to do my laundry, how I can eat just 1 candy bar and not the whole bag. Lol she helped me with my homework as well as taught me to stand tall and look people in the eye when being talked to and how to take a compliment. I in turn.. taught her “popular slang words” from the 90’s. She would ask “ is this the BOMB Marianne “. And we’d laugh. Idk if she knew all this stuck with me all these years.. I am certainly grateful for it! Thank you and RIP Marge! Love ya!

I have known Marge and her son Andy for many years. She was my parent's neighbor, Charlie and Julia Kasytski. She was a remarkable individual and a wonderful Mom raising Andy. Many visits, coffee, tea and came for dinners, family parties and a lot of just because!!!!. Marge did much for our family and especially kept an eye out for my parents. Funny Story: I came home one weekend to see my parents. I just moved to NY from CA. It was early morning and I was doing my rounds about my parent's property. I was wearing black leggings and a black hoodie. Marge always had an eye like a hawk, Like most early mornings she would be looking out her side kitchen window.. Marge called my Dad concerned of an induvial (me) looking suspicious. My Dad laughed and said, "Oh that's Marianna our daughter in from New York". Marge often asked me about my work, telling me this that I use this with my staff. "If you are early you are on time. If your on time you are late. and if your late its unacceptable! Love it!
Marge was kind, generous, always going out of her way to do anything for everybody she cared about. Last week I went to visit her twice before traveling back to New York. We always greeted each other, "Hey Girlfriend". I will miss Marge tremendously. Her presence, her wonderful BLUE eyes and her tough but kind soul. P.S. Marge made the BEST COLESLAW!!!! and she gave me the recipe. Marianna Kasytski-Carlson

I couldn't ask for a better neighbor. Always helped me with anything I needed. Lots of trips to the QVC store which was one of her favorite things to do. Many other stops along the way. You touched many lives and will be missed by many. Love you Marge.
