Hi Dad, It's December 29 2023 a little over a year since you have been gone . And I miss you every single day!!! I prayed and prayed God to send you back because there had to be some kind of mistake. You meant the world to so many of us especially your children! You were a rock, a gentleman, smart, kind, giving and you positively impacted so many lives. I will never forget all you have done for me, above and beyond, all the things you taught me, ever so wise, and I will never forget that I couldn't have dreamed of a better person to be my father. Rich was more like a Big Brother, my sweet uncle & friend. I was lucky to visit & stay for a few days a couple of times a year. He’d share news about my cousins & their kids and my aunts, too, with so much joy, love & pride. Not sure if I’d have been so welcome without bringing cookies, though. Oh, the laughter, tears & memories we shared, old movies & my chess lessons, too. All our adventures included a good breakfast, ice cream or fried flounder! His wit & wisdom were unmatched. I will miss him so very very much.
