Obituary of Shanon Patrick Makatche

Shanon P. Makatche, age 37, of Chadds Ford, PA passed away on October 25, 2022 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. Born to Wayne P. and Diedre Ryan Makatche in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Glen Mills, PA. He resided in Chadds Ford, PA for the past 8 years and previously resided in Glen Mills, PA. Shanon attended Salesianum for high school and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Telecommunications from Pennsylvania State University (Main Campus). He was the East Regional Team Supervisor for QTC Management in Malvern, PA. Shanon loved music, trivia, artwork, making people laugh, organizing events, entertaining friends, finding thoughtful gifts, and playing games. He was previously a disc jockey for local weddings and taverns and a creative soul. He enjoyed exploring, especially obscure locations and tubing trips down the Brandywine River with friends. He was an avid fan of Penn State Football, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent his free time reading, writing, and creating videos. Shanon loved his family dearly and was preceded in death by his mother, Diedre Ryan Makatche who passed away in 2018. He is survived by his father, Wayne P. Makatche, sister, Mackenzie Makatche, two brothers; Brenan (Hayley) and Nolan Makatche, and two nephews; Cashel and Carlow. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 9:15-10:15AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church (New Church), 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) (https://adaa.org/).
