Obituary of Anne "Nancy" M. Albertson

Anne Marie "Nancy" Albertson of Glen Mills, PA passed away on October 14th from a battle with cancer at the age of 90. Funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 430 Valley Brook Rd., Glen Mills, PA on Tuesday, October 25th. Please join the family as they share their eulogies starting at 9:30AM with mass at 10:00AM. A private burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pagano Funeral Home on Monday, October 24th from 6:00-8:00pm located at 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA.

Nancy was born in Upper Darby, PA to Anne and William Saunders on September 22,1932. She went to West Catholic High School and graduated in 1950. She worked for a brief time at Piasecki (now Boeing) where she met the love of her life, Thomas Albertson, Sr. They married when Nancy was 20 and Tom was 23 and had 6 children. Nancy was a devote Catholic and the most caring and compassionate mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook, bake, crochet, and was known to always have a crossword puzzle book and a cup of coffee in her hand, but most important to her, was the love of her family.

Nancy is survived by her large Irish Catholic family including her 6 children; Maryann (Nick) Bonaventure, Karen (Hal) Rivera, Patty (Rob) Gilday, Tom (Rose) Albertson, Jr., Robert (Pam) Albertson, and Nancy (John) Ibach.

17 grandchildren: Nicole Bonaventure, Beth Ann Puckett, Gina Horne, Adrienne Horne, NicholasBonaventure, III., Raymond Wiegand, Heather Medeiros, Katelyn Gilday, Robbie Gilday, Tommy Albertson, III, Tyler Albertson, Tucker Albertson, Bobby Albertson, Faith Albertson, Kyle Albertson, Sarah Ibach, and Grace Ibach.

19 great grandchildren: Rachel Bonaventure, Zachary Puckett, Hannah Puckett, Abigail Puckett, Dominick Horne, Vincent Horne, Gia Horne, Michael Horne, Jonathan Horne, Colton Horne, Connor Horne, Nicholas Bonaventure, Leighton Bonaventure, Alexa Wiegand, Ariana Wiegand, Quinn Medeiros, Willa Medeiros, Leona Wiechecki, and Piper Wiechecki.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Albertson, Jr., parents, Anne and William Saunders, brother William Charles Saunders, and her granddaughter Krista Gilday Wiechecki.
