Obituary of Patricia Field

Patricia Field, age 83, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on October 1, 2022 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA. Born to Hugh and Mildred Mosser Field in Upper Darby, PA and raised in Glen Mills, PA, she had resided in Newtown Square for the last three years, previously residing in Connecticut most of her life. Patricia received her Bachelors in Education from Springfield College, MA and completed her post graduate work in education at the University of Pennsylvania. She was a dedicated elementary teacher and school principal for over 33 years prior to retiring in 1995. Patricia was a member of the National Education Association and the Connecticut Education Association. She was a past Girl Scout and liked fishing especially at the lake house in Connecticut. Patricia enjoyed completing craft projects, was great at sewing and especially loved puzzles of all kinds. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, and her great nephew, Teddy Field in 2020. She is survived by her brother, Frederick Field (Amy Talley), her nephew, Ted Field (Rachel Burke); her great nieces, Sage, Elizabeth and Vivian Field and Scarlet Burke. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, 10-11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
