Obituary of Gilda H. Lucarini

Gilda H. Lucarini, age 90, of Springfield, PA passed away on September 13, 2022 at Lankenau Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born to Augustine and Antoinette DeVece Coccia in Philadelphia, PA, Gilda has resided in Springfield for over 50 years. She assisted in her husband's business, Gene's Salon in Springfield, where she handled the bookkeeping. Gilda was a faithful member of St. Dorothy Parish Church in Drexel Hill, PA. She enjoyed reading and spending summers in Wildwood, NJ. She was a member of the Neighborhood Card Club and loved caring for her home and family. In addition to her parents, Gilda is preceded in death by her siblings; Catherine Mickus and Vincent Coccia. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Gene J. Lucarini, daughters; Karen (Al) Camagna, Barbara (Dave) Isaacs, and Debbie (Brian) Murphy, 7 grandchildren; Michael (Rachel) Morlock, Danny Morlock, Zac and Luke Camagna, and Emily, Ben, and Lauren Murphy. A visitation will take place on Sunday, September 18, from 6:00-8:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. An additional visitation will be held on Monday, September 19th at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill, PA from 9:00-9:45AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Interment will take place at the Mausoleum at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. Donations in Gilda's memory may be made to Operation Smile at (www.operationsmile.org).
