My name is Charlotte and I am Laura’s stem cell donor. I am so desperately sorry for Andrew, their children, grandchildren, siblings, family and friend’s loss. Laura and I share a unique friendship, and have done since we were cleared to exchange details in January, almost 2.5yrs since the transplant. Although I have known Laura and her family for a very short while, I know of Laura’s strength and the true fight she fought. She is courageous, brave and God needed her back home. I am thankful she will suffer no more. Laura could not have been a more deserving recipient and loving person. I know just how many lives she lit, and for that I am so so lucky to have been her donor. Although hundreds of miles away, Laura and her family will never know just how much Laura taught me- and how much love I have for her. Laura and the Adam’s family will forever be dear to me. To the Adam’s, thank you for sharing your wife, mother and Mimi with me. We send our heartfelt condolences during this painful time. May Laura’s soul rest in peace.

Being Laura's RA at Messiah College was the beginning of our friendship. There are so many wonderful memories from Hoffman Dorm. I will treasure every one of them. I like to think that maybe I helped Laura and Andrew meet since I was friends with both of them. Laura played the piano at our wedding. She was a blessing and a light to everyone she met.
