Obituary of Mildred May McClure

Mildred "Millie" May Nickle McClure, 87, of Wilmington, DE formerly of Marcus Hook, PA passed away on June 27, 2022 surrounded by her family. Millie retired from Nielsen-Kellerman after 25 years. She would volunteer at the Chester Bethel Thrift Shop and enjoyed spending time in Lewes, DE. Millie is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Nickle and Mary Webster, sisters, Betty Casseday, Ruth Pettee, and Joan Boyle, brother, John Nickle, and son in law, Eugene Guyer. She is survived by her children, Patricia Guyer, Alexandra (Kenneth) Taylor, Alexander (Edie) McClure IV, Lynda (Wayne) Pusey, Patrick (Melissa) McClure, and Frances (Manuel) McClure, and a brother, Andrew Nickle. The loves of her life were her 23 grandchildren and her 27 great grandchildren. Millie was never happier than when she was with her grand and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 10AM at Chester Bethel Cemetery, 2613 Foulk Rd, Wilmington, DE.
