Obituary of Madeline R. DiRusso

Madeline R. DiRusso, age 93, of Wilmington, DE passed away on June 14, 2022 at her home. Born to Samuel and Madeline Gullo in Marcus Hook, PA, she has resided in North Wilmington for the last 20 years, previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. Madeline worked for Baldwin Locomotive and Scott Paper, retiring in the late 1980's. Devoted to her faith, she was a former member of Immaculate Conception of Lourdes. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together. Madeline also enjoyed arranging artificial flowers and her daily cryptograms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 11 siblings and her first husband, Jack V. Antonelli. Madeline is survived by her husband, William "Bill" DiRusso, 3 step children; Mary Beth (Jack) McCreary, William DiRusso Jr., and Mark (Laurie) DiRusso, 9 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wed, June 22, from 9:00 - 10:15AM at Immaculate Conception of Lourdes catholic Church, 21 W. 8th St, Marcus Hook, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM.
