Obituary of Virginia C. Roepke

Virginia C. Roepke, age 88 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on June 12, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born to Gabriel and Sophie Savini DiMarco in Chester, PA, Virginia was previously of Exton, PA and resided the last 11 years at Maris Grove Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA. A US Navy Veteran, Virginia served her country during the Korean War from 1952-1955. She worked as an office manager for a data processing company and in the real estate industry. Dedicated to her faith, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Exton, PA. An avid golfer with her husband, they enjoyed traveling the world and playing golf. She was also a wine enthusiast, and she belonged to several wine clubs, as well as a member of the German club at Maris Grove. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roepke who passed away in 2015, as well as her brother, Peter Muscella. She is survived by her sister, Splendora (Louis) DiMarino, brother-in-law, Ralph (Sally) Roepke, and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitaton will be held on Thursday, June 30th at Maris Grove Chapel, 100 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA, from 9:30-10:30AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30AM. Livestream services wil be available. Interment to follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd. Newtown, PA.
