Obituary of Robert J. Pauly

Robert J. Pauly, age 88 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully at home on May 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Clarence and Dolores Motz Pauly in Frackville, PA, Bob has been a longtime resident of Bethel Township. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who treasured spending time with his family and friends. Bob held multiple positions at Scott Paper for 32 years, and retired in 1994 at the age of 60. Devoted to his faith, he was active in his church, St. John Fisher, where he served as an usher and assistant on Sunday's. He was a social member of Del-Vets, Post #1. He also enjoyed walking, dancing, bowling, boating, and playing Pinochle and Bocce Ball. His greatest passion was for the game of golf, especially when playing with family. The Foxfield Community will miss him sadly as he was known there as "Mr. Fix-It" due to the time he dedicated to helping others. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Lecia "Lee" Pauly (nee Haday) who died in 2008, and 2 siblings, Dorothy Carey and William Pauly. He is survived by 4 children, Robert Lee Pauly (Kimberly), Susan A. Bookout (Arthur), Cheryl Czajka (Edward), and Sandra Reynolds (Jeffrey), 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24th from 9:00 am-10:15 am at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
