Obituary of John-Campbell Barmmer

John-Campbell Barmmer, age 76 of Glen Mills, PA passed away on April 18, 2022 at home. Born in Bridgeport, CT and raised in Westport, CT, John resided for the past 8 years in the Fox Hill Farm community in Glen Mills, previously residing in Palmetto Bay, FL for 25 years. John worked as a high-level executive in sales and marketing for Chiquita Brands Inc. for 20 years and afterwards worked in the floral industry in Miami, FL, retiring in 2011. John graduated from Norwalk, CT's Central Catholic High School, Class of 1963 and earned his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. John was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church. He was a great and very active athlete and enjoyed coaching his sons' sporting events. He loved gardening, flowers, telling stories and making people laugh. In addition to his parents, Russell G. and Kathleen Haury Barmmer, John is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Roger and Timothy Barmmer. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Friel Barmmer, 2 sons, Dylan Barmmer and Brendan (Olga) Barmmer, a brother, Russell G. (Karen) Barmmer II, 2 granddaughters, Isabel and Amelia Barmmer and also nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, 2:00-2:45PM at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 3:00PM. Interment will be held privately.
