Blair McCoy, Jr. age 75 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on April 11, 2022 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Blair was born in Chester and was raised in Boothwyn, PA. He enjoyed volunteering at the Boothwyn Fire Company during his younger years and graduated from Chichester High School, Class of 1964. Blair met and married his wife, Nancy, in 1967 and spent the first 34 years of their 55 year marriage on Naamans Creek Road where they raised their family. In 2001, Blair and Nancy moved to Kennett Square, where they made many friends in the Traditions at Longwood. Blair was a supervisor with Sun Oil Company for 35 years before retiring in 2001. For the past 8 years, Blair and his wife have been "snow birds" who winter in The Villages in Florida.

As an avid golfer, he was a member for 16 years at the Kennett Square Golf & Country Club. After leaving the country club, he continued his love of golf with the TAL group in Kennett, and with his many friends in The Villages. He enjoyed snow skiing in the Poconos and planning ski vacations with his family. For the past 25 years his favorite time of the year was the family vacations spent in Sea Isle City. Blair could often be found cheering on his grandchildren at their various sporting events and activities. He also loved to watch, talk, cheer and wear anything Phillies or Eagles. He developed an intense love of travel; he and Nancy visited every continent except Asia. They visited Australia, New Zealand, five countries in Africa, five in South America, seven countries in Europe, and most of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

In addition to his parents, Charles Blair Sr. and Eva Dewey McCoy, Blair is preceded in death by 2 siblings, Alton King and Donna Giandonato. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy R. McCoy, 3 daughters; Darlene (Scott) Bailey, Wendy (Scott) Burnham, and Jennifer (Tony) Rapposelli, 2 siblings, Robert (Eleanor) McCoy and Joanna McCoy, 7 grandchildren; Bryan (Sara), Joshua (Taylor), Eryn, Gianna, Anthony "AJ", Austin, and Kimberly, and 3 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Caleb, and Caysen.
