Obituary of Eleanor H. Trent

Eleanor H. "Ellie" Trent, age 87 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on April 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family in Claymont, DE. Born to Henry and Helen Anna Oreb Geis in Camden, NJ, she has resided the past 10 years in Garnet Valley, PA. Eleanor worked as a legal secretary for Morgan, Lewis, Buckious Law Firm. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was part of the Lazareth Society. She was also a former member of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Turnersville, NJ where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Ellie was part of the "Bunco" group and loved to socialize and play games with friends and family. She was a great cook and loved to feed people. Ellie was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Most of all Ellie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her children and grandchildren play sports. In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Trent, brothers; Eugene Geis, Henry Geis, and sister, Adeline Brunelli, she is survived by her sons; Frank X. (Lucille) Trent, Robert J. (Mary) Trent, daughter, Donna M. (Ken) Cahall,  brother, Paul (Tina) Geis, and grandchildren; Andrew, Rebecca, Gina, Kylie, and Anna. A visitation will be held on Monday April 18, 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA.  A viewing will also be held on Tuesday April 19, from 10-11AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont,DE followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
