Obituary of Francis Noah Schoch, Jr.

Francis "Fran" Noah Schoch Jr., age 72 of Newark, Delaware passed away on April 10, 2022 at Christiana Hospital. Born to The Late Francis Noah Sr. and Helen Murray Schoch, in Chester, Pennsylvania, Fran resided for the past 47 years in Newark, Delaware. He loved his country and is a combat Army veteran who worked on the front lines in the Vietnam War as an infantryman and driver of an M113 armored personnel carrier. He worked for Dupont in the IT department for 38 years retiring in 2006. He was a member of VFW Post 475 in Newark, Delaware and American Legion Post 15 in Elkton, Maryland. Fran enjoyed boating, playing cards, reading Stephan King novels, Corvettes, and doing anything handy - but most of all he loved his girls.  Fran is survived by 3 daughters; Michelle Darden, Andrea (Scott) Schoch Brooks Esq., and Laura (Andrew) Schoch Farach M.D., their mother, Linda Abrams, his sister, Roberta "Robbie" (Denny) Schoch Miller, 8 grandchildren; Amber, Anthony, Joseph, Nicholas, Liam, Natalie, Sebastian, and Simone; as well as great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 11AM. Interment, Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Garnet Valley, PA. The celebration of Fran's life will continue at the VFW Post 475, 100 Veterans Drive, Newark, DE.
