Obituary of Margaret L. Turner

Margaret L. Turner, age 91 of Marcus Hook, PA, passed away peacefully at her niece’s home on April 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born to the late Frederick and Lena Hess Turner in Mountain Grove before moving to Marcus Hook more than 70 years ago. She was immersed in the love of her family. Margaret was a devoted, selfless person who always put others first especially her family and it was exhibited in that she was very influential in raising her nephew Glen. After helping raise Glen, her heart was filled with so much love that she took on the responsibility of raising her great-nephew Clark and great-niece Tammy with patience, discipline and love. Margaret worked side by side with her late brother Clark for more than 50 years managing rental properties and the day to day operations at Turner’s Garage in Marcus Hook. When she was not working, she enjoyed spending her summers at her second home in Del Haven, Cape May, NJ. She is preceded in death by her brother Clark Turner (Elviro), sister Elvira Schell (Curt), brother Byron Turner (Elma), brother Reese Turner (Jane), and her great-great-nephew Clark Turner, JR. She is survived by many family and friends who loved and adored her, especially her nephews Glen and James Turner and niece Kathy Wolfe. She was also blessed with the love of her great-nephew Clark Turner (Charina), great-niece Tammy Turner (Jim) along with great-great-nephews Brandon Cooney, Slayde Turner, great-great-nieces Storm Turner and Starr Turner, great-great great-niece Rylee Turner and great-great-great-nephews Remington Turner and Anthony Cooney. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 10-11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. Followed by a memorial liturgy at 11AM. Interment will be private.
