Obituary of Emanuel M. Renzi MD
Emanuel M. Renzi, MD, age 92, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on April 2, 2022 at his home. Manni born to Nicholas and Domenica Tartaglione Renzi in Philadelphia and raised in South Philadelphia, had resided in the Maris Grove community for the past 7 years, previously residing in West Chester and Wilmington, DE. He received his college degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from La Salle College, Class of 1949 and his Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1953. Manni was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the PA Air National Guard where he served as a Flight Surgeon. As a certified radiologist since June 1960, and medical licensed in Delaware, Dr. Renzi served as the President in his last year for the State Board of Medical Practice and DELPR-PSRO (Federal Program) as the Delaware President for the last nine years. He was a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiologic Society of North America and the Delaware and New Castle County Medical Societies. Manni enjoyed the various programs and resident activities at Maris Grove. In addition to his late parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joann M. Renzi who passed in 2002, his brother, Anthony Renzi and two sisters. Dr. Renzi is survived his wife, Jean Eason Renzi, his daughter, Johna Renzi; his two sons, Christopher (Denise) Renzi and Paul Renzi; his ten grandchildren; his two stepchildren, Linda Eason and Todd (Karen) Eason; his sister, Edith Cutuli; his three brothers, Steven, John, and Nicholas (Joan) Renzi. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 rom 2 to 3 PM at the Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove way, Glen Mills, PA followed by a memorial service at 3 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dr. Renzi's honor, may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence (www.littlesistersofthepoordelaware.org) or the Delaware Humane Association (www.delawarehumane.org).
