Obituary of John H. Herman

John "Jack" H. Herman, age 88 of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on April 1, 2022 at home. Born to Henry and Catherine Devlin Herman in Philadelphia, PA, Jack was raised in Kensington and a graduate of Northeast High School. A US Veteran, he served in the Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War. Jack worked as a primary meter tester for Philadelphia Electric Company for 37 years before retiring in 1992. He was married to his wife of 62 years, Eileen M. Wootten Herman, and they had 5 children together. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eileen. He is survived by his children, Linda Spadaro, John (Stacie) Herman, Michael (Terri) Herman, Joann (Michael) Galinsky, and Susan (William) Fenton, sister, Jean McHale, 18 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
