Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Baruti

Ruth E. Baruti Gavetti, age 94, of Wilmington, DE passed away on March 31, 2022. Born to John and Philomena Longo Gavetti in Crum Lynne, PA, Ruth was a longtime resident of Springfield, PA and Glen Mills, PA. Ruth enjoyed her family and home. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed family gatherings as well as cooking. She was a great mom who was very involved with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Baruti who died in 2002 and 10 siblings, Mary DiMatteo, Catherine Porto, Louise Memory, Jennie Ciullo, Helen Fine, Frank Gavetti, John Gavetti, Albert Gavetti, Douglas Gavetti, and Joseph Gavetti. She is survived by her children, Robert Baruti, Dennis Baruti and Denise (Don) Martin, brother, Arthur Gavetti, 6 grandchildren, Bobby, Keith, Gabrielle, Steven, Brandon, and Rachel, 7 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral service at 11 AM.
