Obituary of Frances N. Bock

Frances N. Bock, age 87 of Glen Mills, PA died on October 6, 2016 at Rose Court skilled nursing at Maris Grove. Born to the late Roy M. & Ruth Smith Newlon, Frances has resided at Maris Grove since 2008, previously residing in the Devonshire section of Wilm., DE. Frances retired from Claymont High School where she taught Business Education for 24 years. She belonged to the National Education Association & the Delaware Teachers Association. Frances was devoted to her family and constantly cared for her daughter when she was struck with Multiple Sclerosis at 21. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Bock who died in 2001, her daughter, Sharon L. Bock who died in 2002 and her brother, Kenneth M. Newlon, State of Ohio Highschool Basketball Coach of The Year (1980-81), who passed in 2012. She is survived by her son and his wife, David R. & Cintia V. Bock and 2 grandchildren, Benjamin A. & Michael R. Bock. A visitation will be held on October 12, 2016, Wednesday at 10:00AM at the Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA where friends may call from 9-10AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
