Obituary of Mildred Mae Fulmer

Mildred Mae "Millie" Fulmer, age 98 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on March 27th, 2022 at her home. Born to Alfred and Sarah (Huston) Bulgin, in Chester, PA. She grew up in Woodlyn, PA and graduated from Ridley H.S. For the last 3 years she resided at Lodge Lane Assisted Living, having previously lived in Afton, DE for 50 years, and Lewis, DE for 5 years. She had worked in several family businesses and then was an office manager for the W.T. Grant Company for several years before her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with her friends and others at Lodge Lane. She was also a member of the Claymont Senior Center, where she had many friends, some of which looked to her for advice on how to use a computer (EVEN THOUGH SHE WROTE IN ALL CAPS). Millie loved going to the casino and traveling on cruises to celebrate her birthday. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William F. Fulmer, Sr., and her brother, Richard A. Bulgin. She is survived by her children, William (Ruth) Fulmer Jr., Carol (Wilson) Frampton, and Constance (Charles) Kowchak, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandson, Lucian. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 15th, from 10-11AM at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by a memorial service at 11AM, and then a luncheon at The Ballroom at Bethel (a short ride away). Burial will be private on Monday, April 18th at 1:00PM at Chester Rural Cemetery, Upland, PA.
