Obituary of Jean Mae Cavanaugh

Jean Mae Cavanaugh, age 94 of Boothwyn, PA passed away on March 26, 2022 at home. Born in Upper Darby, PA, to Edward H. and Mabel M. Goodwin Gaskill, Jean resided her last 10 years in Boothwyn, PA and lived previously in Millsboro, DE and Lima, PA. She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, playing Pokeno and Bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and making dolls to raise money for the Spina Bifida Association. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Thomas J. Cavanaugh, who passed in 2004, and siblings, Dorothy, Marguerite, Elaine, George, and infant sister, Patsy. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Thomas) Clark, granddaughter, Paula Clark, and grandson, Thomas J. (Paulette) Clark, III. A graveside memorial will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10AM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way Millsboro, DE 19966. A celebration of life is being planned for April 9, 2022 at Park View at Naaman's Creek.
