Obituary of Sara E. Grace

Sara E. Grace, age 58 of Claymont, DE died on October 5, 2016. Born to the late Francis & Ruth Pettinati Grace in Chester, PA, Sara was raised in Trainer, PA. She has been a resident of Claymont, DE for 25 years. She Graduated from Chichester High School, class of 1976 and received her Bachelors in both Business Finance & Agricultural Economics from the University of Idaho. During her high school years, Sara was a Trombone player for the high school band. She also enjoyed field hockey and was the goalkeeper for the Lacrosse team. Sara was an agent for many years employed by the IRS. She had a passion for cooking and reading up on recipes. She was devoted to her faith and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Wilmington, DE. Sara is survived by her husband, Michael J. Herrick, siblings, Francis (Donna) Grace, Kevin (Donna) Grace, Ruthann (Bob) Dion, Paul (Shona) Grace & Michael (Marie) Grace, nieces & nephews, Lauren, Sophia & Francine Grace, John & Fallon Grace, Joshua & Jeremy Grace & Amanda Grace Bondrowski as well as great nieces & great nephews. She will also be missed by her dogs, Shamus, B'Lana, Pirate, Marykate & Ashley. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, 6-8PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Tuesday, 10-10:45AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Rd., Wilmington, DE. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM at the church. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in her memory may be made to American Diabetes Assoc. (www.diabetes.org).
