Obituary of Nancy Joan Flicker

Nancy Joan Flicker, age 77 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on March 18, 2022 at Lima Estates in Media, PA. Born to George and Anita (Burdell) Cundey in Philadelphia, PA, Nancy was raised in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia, resided 30 years in Yeadon, PA, and the last 23 years in Glen Mills, PA. Nancy worked as an underwriter for Chubb Insurance Company for over 25 years before she retired. Nancy loved to travel and enjoyed spending time in England visiting her cousin, Sheila, and family. In her free time she enjoyed playing Mahjong with her girlfriends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by loving husband of 50 years, James Flicker, who passed away in 2020, and her sister, Mary Humphreys. She is survived by her sons, Joe (Lynn) Flicker, and Jimmy (Kim) Flicker, her brother, George (Eileen) Cundey, brother-in-law, Robert Humphreys, as well as four grandchildren, Kelley, Matt, Wyatt, and Maya Flicker. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 25th from 10-11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11AM. Interment, SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's name may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org/donate).
