Obituary of Deanna Renee Demetratos

Deanna Renee Demetratos, age 29, of Claymont, DE, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Born in Voorhees, NJ, she has resided in Claymont; DE for 25 years. Deanna completed the course as an EMT in 2010, graduated from Hodgson Vocational Technical High School, Class of 2011, Harris School of Business, 2012. She was a member of Claymont Fire Company for 4 years. Deanna's memorable work places in the past was at Massimo's Pizza for 9 years and Elwyn for 3 years. She was a manager for Sunrise Mini Market in Claymont, DE. Deanna loved doing pedicures and manicures on her mom, aunt, grandmothers and daughter. Making memories was important to her such as camping with her children,

spending time at the beach, going to Disney in Florida and California, and traveling to Tennessee with her dad Andy to see the eclipse and attending the fireman's convention with her with Poppy. She loved Disney, most importantly Tinkerbell, the color purple, and baking with her children, nieces, and nephews. Deanna loved listening to and singing Christian music with her children and family. She would have weekly visits with YiaYia and Popou to have tea or a Pepsi and just talk and spend time. Most of all she loved spending quality time with her family and many friends. Deanna was well loved and adored by all who had the pleasure to meet her.

She is survived by her children, Breanna Jean and Mason Joseph Hawkins, mother and best friend, Lorrie (Andy) Demetratos, paternal father, Jack Evans III siblings; Andrew Spiro Demetratos and Amanda Jean Evans, maternal grandmother, Jean Klein, maternal grandfather (Poppy) Joseph G Klein (deceased) step paternal Popou, Spiro Demetratos, step paternal YiaYia, Jean Demetratos, paternal grandmother, Ethel (Bill) Guthridge, paternal grandfather, Jack Evans Jr (deceased) (Karen Chew Evans) paternal great grandmother, Ethel Leibrand, aunts; Dawny Klein, Kathy (Carl) Richards, Missy (Herb), Gerry Lynn (Sosh), and Nadine (Brandon) uncles; Joe (Jonelle) Klein and Alan, Eddie, Michael (Becky), Gordon (Laura), and cousins; Jordan, Bethany, Peter, Aubrie, Kylie, Alexis, Julie, Kenny, Teena, Matty, AJ, Billy, Mark, Brandon, Gabby, Angelina, Harley, Carlene, Mikey, Malcolm, Ciera, Lukus, and Brayden. And the special people in her life, Stephanie, Dominique, Lisa, and Jessica Marshall, her Sunrise Market work family, and many many others.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers please donate to Andrew and Lorrie Demetratos to help fund Deanna's children's education.
