Obituary of Rosalie A. DaVinci

Rosalie A. "Sis" DaVinci, age 84, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, surrounded by her friends and family. Born to Rosildo and Jennie Varone Anemone in Chester, PA, she was raised in Trainer, she resided for the past 51 years in North Wilmington, DE. Rosalie was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, class of '55, and worked at FMC in Marcus Hook, where she met her future husband, Anthony. Devoted to her faith, she was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church. Rosalie was an expert seamstress, loved knitting, crocheting, baking, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies baseball fan. A homemaker, Rosalie made a beautiful home for her family, and they enjoyed many vacations to their 2nd home in Cape May, NJ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Anthony P. DaVinci, who passed away in 2011, as well as her brother-in-law, Clem DaVinci. Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Andrew) Groff, son, Mark (Tiffany Deavor) DaVinci, granddaughter, Alexandra (Gregory Esposto) Groff, two brothers, Russell (Kathleen) Anemone and Ted (Jackie) Anemone, sister-in-law, Marie DaVinci, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 10-11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
