I'm deeply,heartfully sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I worked for and with Chris at Bentley Systems. He guided and taught me quite a lot in those years, and he was a very good manager and mentor to me.
April, I met you a few times when you were a little girl and your father would occasionally bring you in to work with him. He absolutely adored you. I remember how worried he was when you were four years old and having your eye surgery. I gave you a glow-in-the-dark eyeball superball right before you went in to the hospital.
Chris was a tremendously loyal person with a very giving heart. He would help you out in a heartbeat. His service as an Army Ranger is extremely admirable, and he always amazed me with his stories about those experiences.
I will miss Chris, and I am very sorry for all your pain and loss. My deepest condolences.
