Obituary of Lancess T. McKnight

Dr. Lancess T. McKnight, age 89 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away at home on February 24, 2022. Born to Lancess and Thelma Watson McKnight in Philadelphia, PA, he was a lifelong resident of Media, PA, residing the last 6 years in Garnet Valley, PA. Lancess earned his undergrad degree from Lincoln University and his doctorate of education from the University of Sarasota. Lancess worked as Assistant Superintendant in the Souteast Delco School District for many years before retiring. In his free time, Lancess enjoyed bowling, tennis, and camping. He is survived by his two sons, Lancess R. McKnight and Duane C. (Tammy) McKnight, his sister, Betty Ann Minton, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
